With the previous train having been ransacked by Reavers, the cargo was moved onto a secondary less protected train. While not announced specifically, Doralee was able to persuade a nearby train guard to hand over the information as to the train’s whereabouts and direction.

Their entry into the train was easy, but it was packed full of passengers from nearby towns. While the towns hadn’t been targeted by the Reavers, there was only a matter of time before they returned to finish their fill of meat.

“Captain,” Mal leaned towards Ghost. “We’re gonna need a distraction. Think you can whip one up?”

Ghost smiled and turned to the crowd. “Ladies and gentlemen! Watch this!”

And with that, he jiggered a dance like nothing before, giving enough time for his crew to get into the lightly secured cabin where the gold was stashed, and come out with extras!

And for that easy time when Xah was able to bypass a tight security lock with a Hacking Rig and crack open a safe while working the crowd...

Wash laid the security interface pad against the door and leaned back. “This thing will get us in in” *click* “no time!”

“Amazing,” the Captain smiled. “A good investment that thing.”

“You’re telling me Captain. Better than freezed dried ice cream, and that is some horrible stuff.”

“Aha,” Captain Berkstresser walked casually up to the safe.

It took a few minutes to crack it, the Hacking Rig not working on this stuff, before he started loading the cash from the safe into the bags they had. Then he walked out. It was the easiest thing ever. He sent Wash to bring Thing 1, Thing 2 and Sam back from persuading the bank staff that they were water maintenance men and then they all headed back to the ship, lickety split.
