Hey guys,
So we’ve been doing a lot of discussion on the Discord as to what our first setting should be.
It doesn’t need to be cyberpunk related, and anyone can create a different second setting to RP in after we make our first one, but I think it makes sense if the first one we make is cyberpunk. Once we’ve nailed this down, we can create our RP group here and start plotting the aspects of the world.
Also, I need two other citizens to support whatever setting we end up focusing on.
I don’t have any problem with a cyberpunk setting, considering the overall region theme at the moment. It’s a fairly broad category but that’s ultimately a good thing since it allows for a lot of flexibility. It will be important to narrow down the technological zenith we’re allowing to some degree, but there’s a lot that cyberpunk can entail. Robotics and cybernetics. Virtual interfacing. Genetic engineering, splicing and cloning. Even a degree of early space travel potentially. Of course, if it is based around a single world, shared history is probably more common and important than what I’m used to from the past Cynosure iteration but that’s hardly a problem.
So overall, I concur, basically.
We the Einnstadtens respect the difference in other nations, Cynosure is a big region. Hope we can learn something new in here, by the way…this place seems to very advanced for everything. In our hometown, we are still using 1980s old computers. Hope we can get used to the life in here soon.
Aha 😄 So that’s one for Cyberpunk, and one for the 1980s.
We just need two citizens who like the same setting for us to create a group of that setting, as per the current rules for creating groups. Then we can start fleshing out the world we want to RP in, whether that be nations, or a single city and us partaking in that.
